Atlanta is a heaven for people that like Korean food. Atlanta is the area with the second largest Korean population in North America. So, arguably, you will find the most authentic Korean food here. Goes without saying, a place that has people with the highest ethnicity will have the most authentic food serving the people with that ethnicity. Since Atlanta is that place for Koreans, there are huge number of authentic Korean restaurants here. One among them is Jang Su Jang. This was the first Korean restaurant (Duluth ) I ever tasted a Korean food. I loved it so much even the first time that this became my favorite Korean restaurant in Atlanta. I have tried many other Korean restaurants after that but this remains the favorite still. The first time I visited here, I only tired the Kimchi tofu soup and that was amazing. The banchan was elaborate and the kimchi and sides were awesome. The service was as good as it can get. We also tried the Alpharetta location and my family liked it much better than Duluth one. The only problem with the Alpharetta location is the parking issue. As this restaurant is located right at the main road, there is no ample parking, one has to really move aro

this restaurant looks like a place I can't afford to even walk into, but it's actually fairly affordable. I got the pork belly and they brought it out still sizzling on the grill, kind of like when you get fajitas at other restaurants. everything was delicious. generous portions. it seemed authentic because there were many Korean people eating there. all the staff were friendly, attentive, and explained everything well. perfect for a date night!

5-Star Review for Jang Su Jang Korean BBQ in Alpharetta ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Fantastic Authentic Korean BBQ Experience! I recently visited Jang Su Jang in Alpharetta (the one in City Center on Milton Ave) and it quickly jumped to the top of my list for Korean food in the area. From the moment we walked in, the modern yet welcoming ambiance set the perfect tone—clean, comfortable, and great for both date nights and family dinners.adfebc We went all-in on the Korean BBQ and it did not disappoint. The LA Galbi was tender, juicy, and perfectly marinated with that ideal sweet-savory balance (the subtle honey note really shines). The short ribs grilled up beautifully at the table with that amazing smoky char. We also ordered the bulgogi, which was thinly sliced and full of flavor, and some spicy pork belly that brought just the right heat. The banchan sides were fresh, generous, and varied—especially the kimchi, which was perfectly balanced and not overly salty.1b5194 Service was attentive and friendly without being overbearing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and happily helped with recommendations. Everything came out hot and timely, and the staff even checked in to make sure o

Best banchan this side of Duluth! Gotta love how you order 1 thing and literally get 18 things. Ha! I ordered their $22 lunch box with the LA Galbi (my favorite short rib dish). Not only was it delicious, but their banchan was on point! Great value and great Korean food. I see more Jang Su Jang in my future.

Our family has mostly visited Jang Su Jang in Duluth, so this was our first time trying the Alpharetta location. When we used to go to the Duluth Jang Su Jang nearly ten years ago, it was mainly for comforting dishes like Soondoobu, something very affordable and casual. The Alpharetta Jang Su Jang felt quite different. It’s located inside a hotel, and the atmosphere is much more upscale. Because of that, the prices are not cheap, and the overall vibe is more polished than what we were used to. It truly felt like a different version of Jang Su Jang. The food was very good, and the service was also excellent. Everything was well prepared, and the staff was attentive. However, as Korean visitors coming from out of state, it felt a bit distant from the Korean community, which makes it less likely for us to return regularly. That said, it’s definitely worth visiting at least once, especially if you’re looking for a more elegant Korean dining experience in Alpharetta.
